Add the ability to have a bank of images to insert, just like signature but more elaborate

So we could insert pre-established symbols for annotations and review

Regarding a pre-defined list of CAD symbols to use:

PDFMarkup is a review tool, not a design tool, hence we never had a need to have CAD symbols library to use, because symbols are placed in design software. We don't want to confuse the reviewer / designer communication due to symbol being placed as an annotation instead of being part of a drawing, which could lead to symbol not being placed in the new revision / version of the drawing.

However, if you would like to request this feature, it would be great if you could provide some context, as to why this is needed in your workflow. Also, it would be much appreciated if you could elaborate what symbols you need specifically, since there is a lot of different CAD symbols out there: architectural, electrical, piping etc.

    Hello,

Currently, there is a tool available for that called "Image stamps", which can be found by going to "Insert" tab -> Clicking on "Rubber Stamp" tool.
In the left panel, there will be a section called "Image Stamps".

Image stamps can be "User" scope, where only the owner will be able to see / use them, and "Project" scope, where anyone in the project will be able to see / use them (for image stamps to persist between sessions or to use project stamps, you might need to turn on the "Store Image Data in Cloud Library" option in settings).

New Image stamps can be uploaded using "Create New Image Stamp" button. In the dialog, there is a selection for stamp scope and for image upload

a symbole caracter is not a custom review symbol, or a custom image bank, or a any custom symbole, what is needed is a bank of images we could insert
